The Bronze Award The first category in the rating system concerns actual company structure, premises and day to day operation. It takes into account the benefits gained by small businesses against large corporate organisations looking at the environmental impact per capita. The evaluation of the company structure gives a solid base rating upon which the system can then be more product or service specific, across the Silver and Gold categories. As such, a company that doesn’t have a particularly eco-friendly structure; yet provides an exceptionally ‘green’ product may score low in the Bronze category but high in the Silver category. The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the bronze category is a simple, user friendly online questionnaire. It looks at a number of key factors that lead to the environmental impact and sustainability of the company’s premises and operational running.
